Carmen + Ben, Part I

Photo Credit: Janelle Lynn Photography & A Day To Remember

Planning a wedding should be the most enjoyable time for an engaged couple, but when situations arise altering that blissful state, it makes for your wedding day just that much more special....such was the case for Carmen and Ben. We won't go into the details of the wedding planning chaos just yet, but I did want to share some sneak preview pictures of their wedding from this past weekend. Many thanks to the wonderful Janelle of Janelle Lynn Photography for providing me with some fabulous initial pictures!

Carmen's bouquet, a menagerie of peonies, tulips, roses, freesias and hydrangeas.

A beautiful closeup.

Carmen's something borrowed and something blue...a beautiful rosary.

The beautiful ballroom.

For the tall centerpieces, a combination of cherry blossoms with hydrangeas.

Submerged dendrobium orchids.

The beautiful ice sculpture, accented with our flowers...this beautiful ensemble was placed behind Carmen and Ben's sweetheart table.

The wedding cake, our signature almond butter cake with our raspberry and cream cheese filling.

Accented with gorgeous green cymbidium orchids.

The groom's cake, the design is a nod to Ben's love of Houston and it's sports teams, was our delicious caramel butter cake with our rich dulce de leche filling.

The happy couple...Carmen and Ben. Congratulations guys!
