{Wedding Wednesday} The Sweet Trend Continues...

While the wedding cake is still the main showpiece of the wedding reception (of course, aside from the bride and groom), the sweet alternatives are still going strong. Cupcakes are still the number one alternative and chocolate fountains are still an undying trend, but dessert stations are the new fun addition to weddings and brides and grooms are just loving them!

Dessert stations are full of sweet goodness, from cupcakes, chocolate truffles, cookies, you name it, it's in there! Playing off the candy stations, the dessert bar is a fun twist to add more than just candy. So the next time you want some added sweetness to your wedding, consider the dessert station. Oh, and did we mention, it's a great alternative to the traditional wedding favors?

{Bridals} Stacy!

{Photo Credit} : DW Photography

I'd been so anxious to show off some of these gorgeous bridals, from the ever so fabulous Danny of DW Photography! You met Stacy (with her newlywed husband) with the fabulous engagement session, now you get to see her all dolled up and looking like a beautiful princess! All I can say is that I LOVE this girl to pieces, along with Robert and her entire family! I will miss planning her wedding but know that I've found a new friend and we still have future parties to plan!!! :)

Well, after a fiasco with the loss of her original wedding dress, we managed to get Stacy in a replacement dress, with some alterations, getting it as close to her original dress. Stacy looked absolutely STUNNING. We had so much fun during the bridal session and love how she's just such a trooper! Now, off to enjoy the fabulous pictures!

Stacy's bouquet: a mixture of red Peonies, white Freesias, white Mini Call Lilies, Akito Roses, pink Cymbidium Orchids and White Majolika Roses, accented with some crystals and a crystal brooch.

Having some fun at ZaZa!

{Cupcakes + Wine} = Helping out some little patients!!!

{Artwork Credit: A Day To Remember}

Well, it's almost here...Discover the Magic's Annual Toy Drive Kick-Off Party!

How many of you have spent a night or two in the hospital while your child is being treated? How many of you have spent a night or two in the hospital while your child is being treated during the holidays? It's not a pleasant experience for anyone, that's for sure!

Some children just have absolutely no choice but to spend dreadful hours during Christmas while everyone is opening presents. It's heartbreaking to say the least, and for that reason alone, we hold our annual Discover the Magic Toy Drive, benefiting the little patients at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH).

We are holding our kick-off party on Tuesday, November 30th at the fabulous Tasting Room Wine Cafe in Upper Kirby and YOU are invited! It will be a great event with great wine, delicious cupcakes, entertainment and door prizes! You don't want to miss out, but there is a catch. You MUST bring a toy! Not such a bad deal, right? Small catch, TCH does have minor toy requirements, so check out the list here for all the information.

So come out and join us and help support a great cause! You can register here! Looking forward to seeing you all!

Can't make it to our Kick-Off Party, but would still like to help??? Well, we've made it easy for you! All you have to do is make a donation through PayPal, or dropping off some toys! Here's the info! Thank you so much for your support!
